Woodwind category
First prize :
- The Michèle-Paré prize of 10 000$ offered by M. Jean Paré in collaboration with the OSM.
- A scholarship covering tuition for a degree in a performance program at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University.
- A performance opportunity during the National Arts Center’s 2021-22 season.
- An invitation to perform in a concert or in a recital as part of the OSM’s 2021-22 summer or regular season programming
- The ICI Musique prize, a professional audio recording in one of Radio-Canada’s studios and the broadcast on ICI Musique and ICI Musique Classique.
Second prize :
5 000$ prize offered by the Paul A. Fournier Foundation.
Third prize :
2 500$ prize offered by the Fonds des Amis de l’Art.
Brass category
First prize :
10 000$ prize offered by the Marjorie and Gerald Bronfman Foundation in collaboration with the OSM.

Prize for the best interpretation of a Canadian work :
- In the Woodwind category, a 2 500$ prize offered by the OSM Volunteer Association is awarded to Stephanie Morin
- In the Brass category, a 2 500$ prize offered by Ms. Juliana Pleines is awarded to Robert Conquer
Clarion Foundation scholarship :
A 2 500$ prize offered by Paul Merkelo and the Clarion Foundation is awarded to Antoine Mailloux
Stingray rising Star Award – Public’s choice :
A 2 500$ prize offered by Stingray to the candidate recieved the most votes on the web is awarded to Arin Sarkissian.
Orchestra of the Americas prize :
Full Tuition Fellowship within the 2021 O.Academy, an innovative 6-month orchestral training program offered online to 50 exceptional rising musicians from 25+ countries in alliance with The Royal Concertgebouw, The MET Opera, The Curtis Institute of Music, Bard College Conservatory, National Arts Centre Orchestra Canada & The Global Leaders Program. This prize is generously offered with the support of the Ariane Riou and Réal Plourde Foundation and is awarded to Cyril Fonseca.
Orford Musique prize:
Two scholarships covering tuition and accommodation for a two-week music session at Orford Music in 2021 are awarded to Arin Sarkissian and Florence Laurain.
Domaine Forget prize :
Three scholarships covering tuition and accommodation for one week of advanced training program at Domaine Forget during 2021 are awarded to Robert Conquer, Léonard Pineault-Deault and Micah Kroeker.
Participation prizes :
Cash prizes of 500$ offered to the 10 non finalists thanks to the support of Ms. Marina Gusti in collaboration with the OSM.
