Juliette Bégin
Juliette Bégin has been studying the trumpet at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal since 2018, initially under Manon Lafrance and later with Stéphane Beaulac. She has earned a DEC, a bachelor’s degree, and a DESS. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media, where she studies under Jeroen Berwaerts.
Alongside her formal education, Juliette Bégin has honed her skills through various workshops, including the Domaine Forget Academy (2019, 2022, 2023) and has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Fábio Brum, Håkan Hardenberger, and Tom Hooten. In January 2024, she studied at the Jeunesses Musicales International Chamber Music Campus at Weikersheim Castle in Germany and took part in the MusiPæd Winter Course for brass instruments (with Nikolaj Viltoft, Tine Thing Helseth, Jesper Juul, and others) at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
Professionally, Juliette Bégin performs with several orchestras in the Greater Montreal area and won the position of second trumpet with the Orchestre philharmonique du Québec in September 2023.
