Declan Scott

Declan Scott is a trumpeter and composer hailing from the Toronto area. He has performed with several ensembles, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company, and the Hannaford Street Silver Band. Scott represented Canada in the orchestra at the G20 Summit in Indonesia and was honoured with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada’s Award of Excellence in 2023. 

Currently, Scott is completing his artist diploma at the Glenn Gould School and will begin a trial as the principal trumpet with the Canadian Opera Company in the fall of 2024.
