Olivier Lizotte is a bass trombonist having completed his bachelor’s degree in orchestral performance with a Mention of Excellence at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. Having studied with Pierre Beaudry and Robert Ellis, Olivier has also performed in masterclasses given by internationally acclaimed trombonists such as Jesper Busk Sorensen, Ian Bousfield, Pete Sullivan, and Jörgen Van Rijen. Olivier has also participated in the Domaine Forget (2017-2018), NAOC (2017) and NYOC (2018) festivals.

In addition, Olivier is an active freelance performer in the Greater Montreal Area, performing in a wide variety of musical genres. From 2015 to 2019, Olivier had the chance to perform before more than 200 000 spectators for close to 100 times on the Forever Gentlemen show with artists Garou, Roch Voisine, and Corneille, in Europe and Quebec.
