Ludovic Rochon is a 23-year-old pianist from Quebec City who discovered his passion for music at the age of six. He enjoys various styles but specializes in jazz and classical music.

He trained with Jean-William Mantha and later Sébastien Champagne at Cégep de Sainte-Foy, winning second place in the Prix d’expression Competition in 2019. He also played in the wind and percussion ensemble at Université Laval. At McGill University, he collaborated with jazz figures and studied under Jeffrey Johnston and Marianne Trudel. He was the pianist for Jazz Orchestra 1, performing with Louis Hayes, Charles McPherson, and Ranee Lee. Active in Montreal’s music scene, he has performed at various venues, including the Upstairs Jazz Club, while continuing to play classical music.

Currently, Ludovic Rochon is studying collaborative piano at the Université de Montréal under Francis Perron. He performed with the Ensemble de musique contemporaine in winter 2024 and won second place at the Nouvel ensemble moderne Competition. He accompanies various instrumentalists, singers, and ensembles.
