Vincent Boilard is originally from Mont-Joli in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. He serves as the associate principal oboe with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) and has been an instructor at the Université de Montréal since 2015. 

He studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Rimouski and the Conservatoire de musique de Québec under Philippe Magnan, and later earned a master’s degree in performance from the Geneva University of Music. 

Vincent Boilard has previously held positions with the Jura Symphony Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland, as well as with the Orchestre symphonique de Laval and the Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke. He also regularly participates in chamber music concerts with his colleagues from the OSM and has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as Les Violons du Roy and the Orchestre symphonique de Québec. 

His latest album, Lumières nordiques, released under the ATMA label, earned him the Opus Award in the Modern, Contemporary Music category. This album, a collaboration with the Molinari Quartet, highlights the talent of Canadian composers.
